I’m about to pull my hair out.

Is the horrible coworker or boss putting you down? Customer getting on your nerves? Boring tasks or extreme stress at work? Not recognized for your hard work? It’s tough when you realize that the thing you spend most of your time doing is something you dread.

I don’t think it’s any relief to know that I’m not alone. Because most people hate their job, it makes a positive mindset towards work nearly impossible.

No matter how much it sucks right now, you can’t let the job win. You have to find something that motivates you to get through the tough days. Maybe it’s the money, maybe it’s seeing your impact on other people, or maybe it’s just biding your time until you land your dream job.

Today isn’t the day you quit.

Later you can laugh about it, and how it, at the least, strengthened your mental resilience.

If you’re feeling stuck in a job you hate, here are some quotes to keep you going for another day:

  8. “Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out.” — John Wooden

  16. “Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit.” — Napoleon Hill
  17. “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” — Walt Disney

  19. “So what if it’s hard? It’s supposed to be hard. If it was easy, everybody would do it. Hard is what makes it great.” — Tom Hanks
  20. “I think if you live long enough, you realize that success doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with achieving what you set out to achieve. It’s more about becoming the person you were meant to be.” — Oprah Winfrey

The reward for making it through the race will be worth it.
